What cookies does Staffroom use?
We only use essential cookies — the minimum necessary to make the service work. Most are set by Clerk, our authentication provider, to keep you signed in. We also set one first-party cookie on our free tools so the daily free allowance is counted per browser, which stops misuse without needing an account.

These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service securely. You cannot opt out of them while using Staffroom, as they are required for sign-in and to protect the free tools from abuse.
What we do not use
We do not use:
- Advertising or marketing cookies
- Third-party tracking cookies
- Analytics cookies that track you across other websites
- Cookies from social media platforms
Analytics
We use Umami Analytics to understand how the product is used. Umami is cookieless — it does not set any cookies and does not track you across sessions or other websites. All analytics data is aggregated and anonymised.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you delete the Clerk session cookies, you will be signed out of Staffroom. Instructions for managing cookies vary by browser:
